How to increase your notoriety in Italy and in the rest of the world thanks to Instagram

K-Way is one of the brands of the BasicNet S.p.A. group, operating in the sports clothing, footwear and accessories sector.

The Group’s activity consists in developing knowledge of the various brands it owns and distributing its products through a global network of licensed and independent companies.

Our task was to promote a branding campaign that would increase brand awareness and improve the companies positioning in different markets, aiming at the visibility of a new K-Way collection which is one of their flagship products.

Thanks to the excellent content quality provided and our knowledge on the Instagram platform applied to the business, we have obtained excellent results.

Brand awareness is only one of the goals that can be achieved on Instagram, it can be the first step, the most superficial layer of a company’s entire marketing strategy, though as important than the others.

Through a structured and well-targeted awareness campaign you can attract the user’s attention and convince them to carry out specific actions such as: visit the offline sales points or visit the website.

After careful planning, we were able to identify the fundamental objectives:
  • Reach as many users as possible at the lowest price, on various social channels and various markets;
  • Get a good number of interactions from users in different countries such as: Italy, France, Belgium, USA, UK.

Thanks to a careful and precise targeting and a search for interests consistent with the audience we wanted to reach, we were able to obtain an excellent CPR (cost per reach) in the various countries.

The interactions were also many because each content was presented in the users mother tongue; it is really important that users identify themselves with the brand, not only in terms of the values communicated but also in terms of the language and register used.

How do we reach our goals?

We have used different placements to achieve different objectives through a strategy that involved three different phases.

The content, adapted and customized according to the targeted countries, have been effective and have attracted the attention of users, pushing them to interact.

Instagram, especially for fashion brands, is a powerful channel to gain visibility and reach a large number of people at a low cost and has therefore proved to be the ideal channel to achieve the objectives set by K-Way.
